Overton County is up in the northern part of Middle Tennessee, right on the Cumberland Plateau. Agriculture is still important here. You’ll see plenty of farms as you drive around.
Livingston is the county seat. It has this great little town square. The kind of place where people still gather to catch up. Standing Stone State Park is a local attraction that’s great for hiking and camping.
Dale Hollow Lake is partly in the county. It’s known for its smallmouth bass fishing. World record fish have been caught there. The county has some serious outdoor cred.
