Pickett County, Tennessee

Pickett County is way up in the northern part of Tennessee, right on the Kentucky border. It’s one of the smallest counties in the state. But don’t let that fool you.
The county has some serious outdoor attractions. Pickett State Park is a local favorite because it’s great for hiking and stargazing. There’s a reason they call this place the “Hidden Paradise of Tennessee.”
Byrdstown is the county seat. It’s tiny, but it has everything you need. The nearby Dale Hollow Lake is the big draw here. It’s known for its clear water and great fishing. The whole county is beautiful. Rolling hills, green forests. The kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay a while.
