Parker County, Texas

Parker County is just west of Fort Worth. It’s basically where the suburbs fade into ranch land. The Chandor Gardens has fountains and a waterfall. It’s like a slice of Europe in the heart of Texas.
Weatherford is the biggest town. They call it the “Peach Capital of Texas.” Every summer, the Parker County Peach Festival draws huge crowds.
The county has deep cowboy roots. The Parker County Sheriff’s Posse puts on a mean rodeo. There’s some serious horse country out this way. Cutting horses are a big deal. So are thoroughbreds.
