Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma

Pottawatomie County is just east of Oklahoma City. Shawnee is the biggest city and the county seat. It has a cool downtown area with some neat historic buildings.
The county is named after the Pottawatomie Native American tribe. It’s pretty flat around here, with the occasional rolling hill to break things up.
Agriculture is big business. Seriously, drive around and you’ll see fields for days. But it’s not all farms and ranches. There’s a casino resort that brings in tourists.
