Potter County, Texas

Potter County sprawls across the Texas Panhandle. Amarillo is the heart of this county. This is cattle country. The stockyards here are massive. But there’s more than just cows.
Pantex Plant is here too. It’s where they maintain nuclear weapons. Kind of a big deal. Palo Duro Canyon is just south. It’s breathtaking and is the second largest canyon in the country.
The wind never stops blowing. Dust storms can turn day into night. But the sunsets are incredible. Orange and purple light up the wide-open sky.
