Randolph County, West Virginia

Randolph Location Map West Virginia

Randolph County is in the eastern part of West Virginia, right in the heart of the Appalachians. It’s really big. In fact, it’s the largest county in the state by land area.

Elkins is the county seat, a charming little city with an arts scene. The Monongahela National Forest covers a good piece of the county. This region is perfect for hiking, fishing, and camping. Winters here are no joke.

Snowshoe Mountain is a major ski resort that draws people from all over. The county has some serious history, too. Civil War buffs will have a field day.
