Summers County is a little county is tucked away in the southeastern part of the state. Hinton, the county seat, sits right where three rivers meet. It’s a sight to see. The New River is the main one though.
Bluestone Lake is a big draw for visitors with fishing and boating. The county has a rich railroad history. You can still see traces of it today.
Summers County is small, but it has heart. The people here are proud of their Appalachian heritage. They’ll welcome you with open arms. Just don’t expect cell service everywhere you go.
