Pope County, Minnesota

Pope County sits in the middle of western Minnesota, a place where lakes and farmland come together. Glenwood, the county seat, is perched on the shore of Lake Minnewaska.
This isn’t your typical Minnesota lake country, though. The landscape rolls with gentle hills. Farms have been in families for generations here.
Fishing is big here. Really big. On summer weekends, you’ll see boats all over the lakes, folks trying their luck for walleye or northern pike.
