US Counties

Dixon County is up in the northeastern corner of Nebraska. It’s right along the Missouri River, which forms its northern border.

Eastern Nebraska is home to Dodge County, a place where the past and present blend together. Fremont serves as the county seat.

Douglas County sits in eastern Nebraska, right along the Missouri River. It’s the most populous county in the state, home to Omaha.

Dundy County is way down in the southwestern corner of Nebraska, bordering Kansas and Colorado. Benkelman is the county seat.

Fillmore County is in the southeast part of Nebraska. Geneva is the county seat. Don’t confuse it with the one in Switzerland!

Franklin County sits in south-central Nebraska, right along the Kansas border. It’s farm country here, where corn and cattle are king.

The wide-open prairies of southwestern Nebraska are home to Frontier County. The horizon seems endless and the sky feels impossibly big.

Furnas County is in the middle of southern Nebraska. It’s part of what they call the Golden Triangle, known for its rich farmland.

Gage County is in southeast Nebraska, along the Kansas state border. Beatrice, the county seat, is the star of the show here.

Garden County is way out in western Nebraska. Don’t let the name fool you. This ain’t no flower garden. It’s rugged, beautiful country.

Garfield County is a small slice of Nebraska, sitting pretty in the north-central part of the state. Burwell is the county seat.

Gosper County is located in south-central Nebraska. It’s not big, but it’s got character. Elwood is the county seat with a few hundred folks.

Grant County is located in the west region of Nebraska. It’s sand hills country. Miles and miles of rolling dunes covered in grass.

Greeley County is located right in the heart of Nebraska. Greeley Center is the county seat. Don’t go looking for skyscrapers, though.

Hall County is in the middle of Nebraska. Grand Island is the big name here. It’s the county seat and the fourth-largest city in the state.
