US Counties

Carroll County is a rural county that sits in the north-central part of Indiana. The Wabash River flows through Delphi, the county seat.

Cass County is located in north-central Indiana, about an hour north of Indianapolis. Logansport is the county seat, situated in the center.

Clark County is right across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. This county is known for Colonel Sanders, the founder of KFC.

Clay County is located in west-central Indiana. It’s a quiet, rural area known for its rolling hills and farmland. Brazil is the county seat.

Clinton County sits in the middle of northern Indiana. Frankfort, the county seat, is known for its impressive courthouse and friendly people.

Crawford County is in southern Indiana, right along the Ohio River. It’s one of the state’s least populated counties.

Daviess County is part of rural Indiana, which you’ll find it in the southwest part of the state. The White River forms its western border.

Dearborn County hugs the Ohio River in southeast Indiana, right on the border with Ohio. It’s close enough to Cincinnati for an easy day trip.

Decatur County sits in southeast Indiana, about halfway between Indianapolis and Cincinnati. The county is interesting in its own right.

DeKalb County is tucked away in the northeast corner of Indiana. The county is pretty flat, with plenty of farmland and an automotive history.

Delaware County is a slice of Indiana that’s equal parts college town and rust belt revival, Delaware County is in the east part of the state.

Dubois County is in southwest Indiana with the White River forming its northern border. It also has Patoka Lake and Hoosier National Forest.

When you think of Elkhart County, think RVs and music. This northern Indiana county is next to Michigan and is the RV Capital of the World.

Fayette County is a small pocket of rural Indiana, southeast of Indianapolis. Connersville is the county seat, once known as “Little Detroit”.

Floyd County is not your typical Indiana landscape. It’s hilly here, part of the Ohio River Valley in the southeastern tip of the state.
