Crawford County, Indiana

Crawford County is in southern Indiana, right along the Ohio River. It’s one of the state’s least populated counties. The county is rural, rugged, and fiercely independent.
Its low population is because the Hoosier National Forest covers a big chunk of the eastern side. But this also makes it great for hikers and campers.
Marengo Cave is the county’s claim to fame. In fact, it’s a National Natural Landmark. You won’t find any stoplights in the whole county, if that gives you an idea.
