Williamson County, Texas

Williamson County is booming. It’s just north of Austin, and the growth is spilling over. Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Georgetown. These cities are exploding.
Dell’s headquarters brought in the tech crowd. But it’s not all new development. The county has some serious history. Sam Bass, the notorious outlaw, met his end here. The Inner Space Cavern is a geological wonder.
There are still plenty of working ranches. You’ll see longhorns grazing alongside new subdivisions. The politics are changing as newcomers arrive. It’s causing some friction. But that’s Texas for you. Never boring.
