Lee County is right in the middle of the Houston-Dallas-San Antonio triangle. It’s mostly rural here with Giddings serving as the county seat.
The county is known for its beautiful bluebonnets in spring. People come from all over to see the fields of blue. Lexington, another town in the county, is famous for its Snow’s BBQ.
The county has a mix of farmland and post oak savanna. You’ll see a lot of cattle, but there’s also a growing renewable energy industry. The Lee County Fair has been going strong for over a century.
