Cimarron County, Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Panhandle’s westernmost tip is home to Cimarron County. It’s the only county in the U.S. that touches four other states – New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, and Kansas.
Boise City serves as the county seat. The landscape here is stark and beautiful. It’s wide open plains territory. You might spot pronghorn antelope or mule deer roaming freely.
The county has a rich dinosaur history. Paleontologists have found fossils dating back millions of years. Farming and ranching are the main industries. Wheat fields and cattle ranches dominate the scenery. It’s one of the least populated counties in Oklahoma. But what it lacks in people, it makes up for in character and natural beauty.
