Door County, Wisconsin

Door County is a finger of land jutting into Lake Michigan, forming the eastern edge of Wisconsin. It’s where water meets woods, and small towns are along the shoreline.
Locals and tourists come here to visit its beaches in summer. The county’s state parks have hiking, camping, and breathtaking views. Not necessarily in that order. Cherry and apple orchards thrive in the mild climate.
Fishing villages turned artist colonies showcase local talent. In fall, the peninsula explodes with color. Lighthouses stand sentinel along the rocky coast. It’s a piece of New England in the Midwest.
