Lawrence County, Tennessee

Lawrence County sits right in the south-central part of Tennessee, bordering Alabama. It’s known as the “Crossroads of Dixie”.
Lawrenceburg, the county seat, was the childhood home of Davy Crockett. There’s now a park named in honor of him. David Crockett State Park has great camping and hiking, just west of Lawrenceburg. They’re pretty proud of that fact.
The area has a strong Amish and Mennonite presence. The county has a mix of industry and agriculture. It’s not uncommon to see factories next to farms. People here work hard. They play hard too. The annual Middle Tennessee District Fair is always a big hit.
