Greene County, Indiana
Greene County is tucked away in southwest Indiana, a place where coal country meets the Midwest. The county has lots of hills, thanks to the eastern edge of the Illinois Basin.
Bloomfield, the county seat, is a small town with a big courthouse. You’ll also find the Shawnee Theatre in Bloomfield, which brings some culture to this rural area.
There’s the Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area, nice for exploring. The Tulip Trestle is one of the longest railroad bridges in the U.S. This county has both culture and excitement.
