Owen County, Indiana
Owen County sits in the south-central part of the state. Spencer is the county seat and sits along the White River.
McCormick’s Creek State Park is Indiana’s oldest state park. It’s just outside of Spencer. This makes it a hotspot for hiking, camping, and enjoying nature.
If you come here, we suggest tubing down the White River or visiting Cataract Falls, Indiana’s largest waterfall. Not another county in Indiana quite captures the essence of rural Hoosier life like Owen County.
