Greene County, North Carolina

Greene County sits in the coastal plain of eastern North Carolina. Snow Hill is the county seat, where the Contentnea Creek threads right through.
It’s real small but don’t let that fool you. Agriculture drives the economy. Tobacco, sweet potatoes, and hogs are big business. Scuffleton has one of the coolest names for a community, hands down.
Contentnea Creek is a favorite spot for paddling and fishing. Greene has loads of festivals during the year where the whole county turns out. The county feels frozen in time in the best way possible. It’s very peaceful here.
