Harper County, Oklahoma

Harper County is in the northwest corner of Oklahoma, bordering Kansas. It’s a land of wide-open spaces and big skies. Buffalo is the county seat.
This is ranching country, with cattle outnumbering people by a long shot. The landscape is rugged and beautiful in its own way.
Mesas and buttes break up the flatness, giving the county a unique look. The people here are as tough as the land they live on. Harper County isn’t for everyone, but those who love it here really love it.
