Woodward County, Oklahoma

Out on the western Oklahoma plains, Woodward County has made a name for itself. It’s cattle country, pure and simple. The Woodward Elks Rodeo is a big deal around here. It’s been going strong for over 90 years.
While oil and gas keep the economy humming, wind farms are popping up all over. The county seat, also called Woodward, has a nice downtown. You’ll find hip coffee shops next to old-school feed stores.
Boiling Springs State Park is a local favorite for camping and fishing. The Great Salt Plains are just a short drive away. Woodward County proves there’s more to western Oklahoma than meets the eye.
