Clark County, Kansas

Clark County stretches across southwest Kansas, where the High Plains meet the Red Hills. Only about 2,000 people call it home, so you’ve got plenty of elbow room.
Ashland is the county seat, located in the center. But the county’s claim to fame is the St. Jacob’s Well, a natural spring that never runs dry.
If you’re into stargazing, the dark skies out here are hard to beat. And for a real taste of the Old West, saddle up for a trail ride at one of the working ranches.
