Harrison County, Indiana

Harrison County hugs the Ohio River in southern Indiana, just across from Louisville, Kentucky. Corydon, the county seat, was Indiana’s first state capital and still has that historic feel.
The county has plenty of caves and sinkholes as part of the landscape. O’Bannon Woods State Park is popular among hikers. The county is home to Squire Boone Caverns, named after Daniel Boone’s brother.
The Battle of Corydon reenactment draws history buffs every July. Caesars Southern Indiana casino brings in tourists and tax dollars. Gambling and caves, what more can you ask for?
