Washington County, Indiana, is located in the southern part of the state, about halfway between Indianapolis and Louisville. It’s in the rolling hills of southern Indiana.
The county seat is Salem and it’s in located dead center in the county. The Blue River winds through the Salem, providing scenic spots for kayaking and canoeing.
