Hunt County, Texas

Hunt County is in northeast Texas. Greenville is the county seat, pretty much in the center of the county. The county has a mix of farmland and growing suburbs.
Cotton was king here once upon a time. These days, it’s more diverse. Lake Tawakoni is popular for fishing. It pretty much occupies the southeast region of the county.
The county fair draws crowds every fall. The Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum is a hit. It’s a place in transition, balancing its rural roots with new growth.
