Putnam County is located in the west-central part of the state. The county has a split personality, which is a part bedroom community for Indianapolis, part pure rural Indiana.
You’ll find rolling hills and winding country roads. People come here to explore places like Cataract Falls (just south of the county). This is the state’s largest waterfall.
