Perry County, Tennessee

Home. Heart. Heritage. Perry County sits in the middle of Western Tennessee. It’s named after Oliver Hazard Perry, a naval hero from the War of 1812.
Linden is the county seat. The Buffalo River runs right through the county. It’s popular for canoeing and fishing. This place is all about the outdoors. There’s even a state forest here. Perry State Forest, fittingly enough.
The county has some interesting history. It was a big iron producer back in the day. You can still see old furnace ruins if you know where to look. People here are proud of their home. They’ve got good reason to be.
