Wayne County, Tennessee

Wayne County is way down in south-central Tennessee, right on the Alabama border. It’s big. In fact, it’s the second biggest county in the state of Tennessee.
Ever heard of the Tennessee Walking Horse? Well, Wayne County is where they shine. The whole county is known for its equestrian might. Waynesboro is the county seat.
The Tennessee River forms part of the northwest border, which is pretty neat. Outdoor lovers might enjoy the state parks around here for fishing, hiking, and picnics. It’s rural, for sure, but that’s part of its charm.
