Spencer County, Indiana

Spencer County is in the southwestern corner of Indiana, hugging the Ohio River. Santa Claus is the county’s claim to fame. Yes, that’s a real town. It’s home to Holiday World, a very popular theme park.
Lincoln City is situated in the county’s north. It’s where Abraham Lincoln spent much of his boyhood. Actually, you can visit his recreated homestead.
Finally, Rockport is the county seat. It has that classic river town feel. You might catch an ATV race at the Lincoln State Park. But Spencer is not your typical Indiana county.
