Bacon County sits in the southeastern part of the state, far from Atlanta. Alma is the county seat, a town of about 3,500 folks.

Berrien County sits in south Georgia, part of the state’s coastal plain. Nashville serves as the county seat, though it’s no music city.

Just south of Georgia’s geographic center lies Bibb County. Macon, the county seat, is its heart and soul. The Ocmulgee River flows through.

Bleckley County is a small patch of central Georgia you might have missed. Cochran serves is the county seat at Highways 23 and 26.

Brantley County stretches across southeast Georgia, not far from the Florida line. Nahunta serves as the county seat, incorporated in 1925.

Brooks County, Georgia is a slice of south Georgia that sits just above the Florida line. Quitman serves as the county seat.

Bryan County hugs the Georgia coast, just south of Savannah. It’s split in two by Fort Stewart, making for an odd shape on the map.

Bulloch County is in southeast Georgia near Savannah. Statesboro is the county seat, a college town that holds Georgia Southern University.

Burke County is southeast of Atlanta. It’s a big, sprawling place, one of Georgia’s largest counties by area. Waynesboro is the county seat.
