Bulloch County, Georgia

Bulloch County is tucked away in southeast Georgia, about an hour from Savannah. Statesboro is the county seat, a college town that’s home to Georgia Southern University. Bulloch County is named after Archibald Bulloch, Georgia’s first provisional governor.
The Ogeechee River forms the county’s eastern border. There’s good fishing there, if you’re into that sort of thing. Farming is still big here. Think cotton, peanuts, and timber.
The county’s a mix of rural charm and college-town energy. It’s not flashy, but it has character. Folks here are proud of their history and their football team, not necessarily in that order. Bulloch County will grow on you, if you give it a chance.
