Baylor County, Texas

Baylor County is where the rolling plains meet the red prairies. You’ll find it in north central Texas, about halfway between Wichita Falls and Abilene. Ranching is big here. Always has been.
The Seymour aquifer runs underneath, keeping things green when the rains don’t come. It’s named after Henry Baylor, a Texas Ranger. Seymour is the county seat, small but lively.
Lake Kemp’s nearby, good for fishing. Folks are friendly. They work hard. The sunsets here? Spectacular. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows your name.
