Aransas County, Texas

Aransas County is located in southeast Texas, right along the Gulf Coast. It’s one of the smallest counties in the state of Texas. Birders flock here to catch a glimpse of whooping cranes.
The county has more water than land, perfect for fishing and boating. Rockport, the county seat, has a thriving arts scene. Hurricanes have hit hard, but the locals always bounce back.
You can’t beat the fresh seafood here. It’s quiet in the off-season, bustling in the summer. The sunsets over the bay are something else. People here live on island time, no rush, no fuss.
