Eddy County, North Dakota

Eddy County is located in east-central North Dakota. It’s small, one of the state’s least populous counties. New Rockford serves as the county seat. About 1,300 folks call it home.
Agriculture drives the local economy. Wheat, soybeans, and sunflowers are big crops. Cattle ranching’s important too. The Sheyenne River flows through the northern part of the county.
Fishing’s popular in the summer. But snowmobiling takes over in the winter. You’ll find lots of nice scenery and recreation opportunities. The county has a rich Native American history. You can still find arrowheads in some fields.
