Lee County, Georgia

Lee County is just north of Albany in southwest Georgia. It’s close enough to the city but far enough to feel like its own world. Leesburg, the county seat, is growing but still keeps that friendly vibe.
These days, it’s known for good schools and a booming population. Folks are moving in left and right. You’ll find new subdivisions next to old pecan groves. The Kinchafoonee and Muckalee Creeks are local hotspots for fishing and kayaking.
Agriculture is still key here, especially peanuts and cotton. It’s the kind of place where you can have city amenities but still know your neighbors. Lee County is changing, but it hasn’t forgotten its roots.
