Loving County, Texas

Loving County is a place of extremes. It’s the least populous county in Texas, with only a handful of residents calling it home. You’ll find it in the western part of the state, bordering New Mexico.
Oil and gas are king here. The landscape is rugged and beautiful, all desert and scrubland. Mentone, the county seat, is barely a blip on the map. It has a courthouse and not much else.
Folks here are tough as nails. All 43 of them. They have to be. The nearest grocery store is an hour’s drive away. But the sunsets? Out of this world. And the night sky? You’ve never seen so many stars.
