Madison County, Nebraska

Madison Location Map Nebraska

Northeast Nebraska is home to Madison County. Norfolk is the biggest city. Johnny Carson grew up there. Yep, that Johnny Carson.

The Elkhorn River runs through the county so it has some nice spots for fishing and camping. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy.

Northeast Community College is in Norfolk, which brings in some younger folks. The county’s a mix of small towns and farmland. It’s the best of both worlds, some might say. People here are friendly, in that Midwestern way. They’ll give you a wave as you drive by.
