Burt County is situated along the Missouri River in northeast Nebraska. Tekamah is the county seat, located near Summit Lake State Recreational Area.
The landscape here is a mix of rolling hills and fertile farmland. Corn and soybeans are the main crops, but you’ll see plenty of cattle too.
