Mesa County is out in western Colorado. Grand Junction is the big city. It’s like the hub for the whole western slope.
The county has some killer scenery with the Colorado National Monument right there. Think red rock canyons and weird rock formations.
There are a bunch of fruit orchards and vineyards in Palisade, so you can do some wine tasting if that is your thing.
Finally, the Grand Mesa is awesome for hiking and fishing in summer, and skiing in winter. It’s Colorado’s Western Slope at its best.
