Montgomery County, Indiana

Montgomery County sits in west-central Indiana. You’ll find a mix of old and new here, including a historic downtown Crawfordsville next to modern industry on the outskirts.
Crawfordsville, the county seat, is known as the “Athens of Indiana” thanks to its wealth of prominent authors. It also has Wabash College, which is one of the few all-male colleges left in the U.S.
Sugar Creek runs through the area with lots of scenic spots and good fishing. The Lew Wallace Study and Museum honors the “Ben-Hur” author.
