Presidio County, Texas

You won’t find a more remote place in Texas than Presidio County. It’s way out in the Big Bend country. Ranching is still big out here. So is the Border Patrol.
Marfa’s the cultural hub. It’s an artsy oasis in the desert. The Marfa Lights are famous. No one knows what causes them.
The Rio Grande forms the southern border. It’s rugged country. Beautiful, but unforgiving. Summers are brutally hot. Winters can be surprisingly cold. But the scenery makes it all worth it.
