Real County, Texas

They’ve been keepin’ it real since 1913. Real County is way out in the Texas Hill Country. It’s pronounced “ree-al,” not like the English word. People flock here for the excellent hunting and fishing.
The Frio and Nueces Rivers cut through the rugged landscape, creating some of the best swimming holes you’ll ever dip your toes in. Leakey, the county seat, is a tiny town with a big heart.
The county’s only got about 3,000 residents, so everyone knows everyone. This place is a far cry from big city life. Cell service can be spotty. Sometimes you just need to unplug and enjoy the view.
