Red Willow County, Nebraska

Red Willow County is tucked away in southwest Nebraska, along the state of Kansas border. McCook is the biggest town and county seat. They call it the “Capital of the Buffalo Commons”.
The Republican River runs through here and creates some nice spots for fishing and camping. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy.
The landscape is a mix of river valleys and rolling hills. It’s pretty, in that rugged prairie way. George Norris, the guy behind the Rural Electrification Act, called this place home. People here are proud of that.
