US Counties

Anderson County sits in East Texas, about halfway between Dallas and Houston. It’s where history and small-town charm collide.

Andrews County sits in the heart of West Texas oil country. Pump jacks cover the landscape like giant metal grasshoppers.

Angelina County is a piece of East Texas. Lufkin, the biggest city, serves as the beating heart of this forested region.

Aransas County is in southeast Texas, right along the Gulf Coast. The county has more water than land with Rockport as the county seat.

Archer County sits in North Texas, not far from Wichita Falls. It’s cowboy country here. The landscape is mostly rolling prairies.

Armstrong County is right in the Texas Panhandle. It’s wide-open country, with views that stretch for miles. Claude is the only town here.

Atascosa County sits just south of San Antonio. Known for its ranching and agriculture, it produces everything from peanuts to watermelons.

Austin County lies between Houston and Austin. Bellville is the county seat. The county is rolling hills are a patchwork of farms and ranches.

Bailey County is way out in the Texas Panhandle. It’s flat as a pancake and twice as nice. Muleshoe is the only real town here.

Bandera County calls itself the “Cowboy Capital of the World,” and they ain’t kidding. It’s in the Texas Hill Country, west of San Antonio.

Bastrop County is east of Austin, Texas. It’s like a slice of old Texas with a modern twist. The county dates back to 1837.
