Spokane County Map, Washington

Spokane County is in eastern Washington in the urban heart of the region. It’s right on the Idaho border, anchored by the city of Spokane.

Stevens County is off the beaten path. It’s way up in the northeast corner of Washington, bordering Idaho and Canada.

The state capital calls Thurston County home. Olympia sits at the southern tip of Puget Sound. It’s in the middle of western Washington.

Wahkiakum is a tiny county, hugging the Columbia River in southwest Washington. It’s the one of the least populous counties in the state.

Walla Walla County is known for its rich agricultural heritage, especially its sweet onions and wine grapes. There’s an onion named after it.

Whatcom County sits at the northwestern tip of Washington state, bordering Canada. It’s home to Bellingham, a laid-back college town.

Rolling hills of wheat define the landscape of Whitman County. It’s in the southeastern corner of Washington, up against the Idaho border.

Yakima County is the fruit basket of Washington. It’s right in the middle of the state, on the east side of the Cascades.

Barbour County is in the north-central part of the state. Rolling hills and winding rivers define its landscape. Philippi is the county seat.

Berkeley County sits in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle. It has a bit of everything. Martinsburg is its biggest city and county seat.

Coal County sits in the southwestern part of West Virginia. Madison is the county seat. Coal put this county on the map.

Braxton County is right in the heart of West Virginia. The county has a weird claim to fame. Locals believe the Flatwoods Monster landed here.

Brooke County sits up in the Northern Panhandle, that skinny bit of West Virginia. It’s a sliver of land between Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Cabell County is in the western part of the state, right on the Ohio River. Huntington is the big city here with Marshall University.

Calhoun County is about as rural as it gets. It’s in the center of West Virginia. Grantsville is the county seat.
