Washington County, Nebraska

Washington County is in Eastern Nebraska, just north of Omaha. It borders Iowa to the east. Blair is the county seat. It’s got a small-town feel, but with some city perks.
Dana College used to be here. It actually closed down a while back. It’s still a sore spot for locals. The county’s a mix of farmland and bedroom communities. There are lots of folks who commute to Omaha for work.
The Missouri River forms the eastern border so it makes for some nice recreation spots. Fort Atkinson State Historical Park is here. It was the first U.S. military post west of the Missouri. That’s pretty cool if you’re into history.
