Waushara County, Wisconsin

Waushara County is right in the middle of Wisconsin. Lakes and forests dominate the landscape. The area’s known for its crystal-clear spring-fed lakes. It’s perfect for swimming, fishing, or just lounging on the beach.
Wautoma is the biggest town, but it’s still pretty small by most standards. You’ll find friendly folks and a laid-back vibe throughout the county. Agriculture is key to the local economy, especially potatoes.
The Ice Age Trail cuts through part of the county. Waushara has a bit of a reputation as a summer getaway spot, but it’s beautiful year-round. It’s the kind of place where you can really get away from it all without going too far off the grid.
