Wilson County, Texas

Wilson County is southeast of San Antonio with Floresville as the county seat. It hosts a fantastic peanut festival every October. It’s a big deal around here. The San Antonio River meanders through, creating some beautiful scenery.
Ranching is still important, but a lot of folks commute to San Antonio for work now. The Wilson County Courthouse is a stunner. They don’t make ’em like that anymore.
You’ll find some great German and Polish influence in the food and culture. Sutherland Springs has seen tragedy, but the community’s strength shines through. It’s quiet out here. Peaceful. A nice escape from the big city bustle.
