Mills County, Texas

Mills County sits in the heart of the state, where the Hill Country meets the plains. Small towns cover the landscape. Goldthwaite, the county seat, is about as Texan as it gets.
Hunting is huge here with deer and turkey. The Colorado River forms the county’s southern border. Pecan orchards and cattle ranches are scattered across the rolling hills.
It’s quiet out here. The kind of quiet that lets you hear yourself think. Regency Bridge is the last suspension bridge in Texas that people call “the swinging bridge”. The county has some quirky claims to fame. Like being the Goat Capital of America.
