Saguache County Map, Colorado

Saguache County is in the San Luis Valley of south-central Colorado. It’s pretty remote and many consider it as a true Colorado treasure.

San Juan County is the second least populous county in Colorado. Silverton is the only real town. It’s high up in the San Juan Mountains.

San Miguel County is in southwest Colorado. Telluride is the big draw. It’s a famous ski resort with a cool old mining town vibe.

Sedgwick County is way out in the northeast corner of Colorado. Julesburg is the county seat. It’s right on the Nebraska border.

Summit County is in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. It’s all about skiing and snowboarding. This is why the county fills during ski season.

Teller County is just west of Colorado Springs. The county is pretty high up. The country is mostly covered with Pike National Forest.

Washington County is out on the eastern plains of Colorado. Akron is the county seat. There’s not much going on, except a lot of farming.

Weld County is in northeastern Colorado. Greeley is the biggest city here. This county is known for its rodeo and cattle feedlots.

Yuma County is way out on the eastern plains, right up against Nebraska and Kansas. Yuma and Wray are the main towns here.

Fairfield County hugs Connecticut’s southwest corner. It’s where New York City’s influence bleeds over the border.

Hartford County sits in the heart of Connecticut, with the capital city as its crown jewel. The Connecticut River cuts through the county.

Litchfield County sprawls across Connecticut’s northwest corner. Rolling hills, covered bridges, and town greens… that’s Litchfield for you.

Middlesex County stretches along the Connecticut River, in the state’s midsection. It’s home to Wesleyan University, keeping things youthful.

New Haven County is along Connecticut’s south-central coast, anchored by Yale. It stretches from Long Island Sound to the Naugatuck Valley.

New London County occupies Connecticut’s southeast corner, where the Thames River meets the Sound. The Naval base keeping things shipshape.
